Our Foundation
Siltrax’s expertise began in the solar industry, where years of experience working with silicon laid the foundation for today’s hydrogen technologies. Through the development and manufacture of silicon-based products, the company established deep knowledge in material processing, precision manufacturing, quality control, and high-volume production.

Silicon Bipolar Plate Technology
At the heart of every Siltrax stack is proprietary silicon bipolar plate technology. Designed for PEM fuel cells and electrolyzers, these plates combine precision manufacturing with the unique material properties of silicon to deliver high-performance, reliable stack components.
Compared with traditional metallic plates, silicon offers inherent corrosion resistance within the acidic operating environment of PEM systems, reducing the need for complex protective coatings while helping maintain long-term performance and reliability.
